Nieuw restaurant op een voortreffelijke locatie aan de zee. Restaurant met kwaliteit in sfeer, aandacht en eten. De keuken verdient dikke complimenten. We aten groen salade, heerlijke mosselen op Griekse wijze en calamaris. Voorts drinken wij een geweldige lichte rosé van top kwaliteit. Επισκεφτήκαμε σήμερα το Dūsk στον Πάνορμο και μείναμε απόλυτα ενθουσιασμένοι! Το μενού ήταν εξαιρετικά προσεγμένο. Δοκιμάσαμε κυρίως θαλασσινά πιάτα και το σούσι, όλα περιποιημένα και με ωραία παρουσίαση. Ξεχωρίσαμε τις γαρίδες ούζου καθώς και τα σκιουφιχτά με μανιτάρια. Two weeks in Crete – and we’re still overwhelmed by the kindness, warmth, and attention we received from the people on the island. One place stood out in particular: Dusk – by far the most beautiful restaurant in town. It felt like a luxurious home nestled in an authentic Cretan setting. The food was phenomenal: the fish was cooked to perfection, the sushi better than anywhere else we’ve had in Europe, and the crab pasta was an absolute highlight. What struck us most: even tourists seemed to become regulars here. The chef chatted with them as if they were old friends who return every summer – warm, relaxed, and genuinely welcoming. And then there was Nikki. Her service was exceptional. By our second visit, she already remembered what we had ordered the first time, which wine we loved – and spoiled us with delicious desserts. She drank Raki with us, and was charming, witty, smart, and simply a wonderful conversationalist. Thank you for these unforgettable evenings and meaningful encounters. We’ll definitely be back! // Δύο εβδομάδες στην Κρήτη – και εξακολουθούμε να είμαστε συγκλονισμένοι από την καλοσύνη, τη ζεστασιά και την προσοχή που λάβαμε από τους ανθρώπους του νησιού. Ένα μέρος ξεχώρισε ιδιαίτερα για εμάς: το Dusk – μακράν το πιο όμορφο εστιατόριο της περιοχής. Έμοιαζε με ένα πολυτελές σπίτι, φωλιασμένο σε ένα αυθεντικό κρητικό περιβάλλον. Το φαγητό ήταν εξαιρετικό: το ψάρι τέλεια ψημένο, το σούσι καλύτερο από οποιοδήποτε έχουμε δοκιμάσει στην Ευρώπη, και τα καβούρια με ζυμαρικά ήταν κορυφαία. Αυτό που μας έκανε εντύπωση: ακόμα και οι τουρίστες έμοιαζαν να γίνονται τακτικοί θαμώνες. Ο σεφ μιλούσε μαζί τους σαν να ήταν παλιοί φίλοι που ξανασυναντιούνται κάθε καλοκαίρι – με ζεστασιά, χαλαρότητα και αληθινό ενδιαφέρον. Και φυσικά, υπήρχε και η Nikki. Η εξυπηρέτησή της ήταν εξαιρετική. Από τη δεύτερη κιόλας επίσκεψή μας, θυμόταν τι είχαμε παραγγείλει την πρώτη φορά, ποιο κρασί μας άρεσε – και μας περιποιήθηκε με υπέροχα επιδόρπια. Ήπιε ρακή μαζί μας, ήταν γοητευτική, έξυπνη, διασκεδαστική και πραγματικά μια υπέροχη συνομιλήτρια. Ευχαριστούμε για αυτές τις αξέχαστες βραδιές και τις ιδιαίτερες συναντήσεις.
